whether和whetherornot的区别

1、用法上的区别

whether…or里whether表示一种选择，其后可以跟介词短语或不定式短语。

whether…or not里whether可用来引导名词性从句，即主语从句、宾语从句、表语从句和同位语从句。

2、意思上的区别

whether…or：是…还是…表判断。

whether…or not：是否，会不会。

3、举例：

Whether you realize that or not.

不论你认识到没有。

I will pick it up to have a look whether it's worth or not.

我会捡起来看它是不是真钱。

whether he can come or not is a mistery.

他能不能来还是个谜。

Whether，意思是是否，后面跟句子，whether or not意思也是是否，后面跟句子。或者把短语拆开，就是把or not放在句子的后面
