mute和silent的区别

mute的意思是沉默的不出声的无声的消音减音减弱（尤指乐器）的声音例如：While most of us know to answer a simple question when asked， The Mute prefers to say nothing. silent的意思是不说话的沉默的很少说话的不爱淡话的无声的如：When she appeared in court she exercised her right to remain silent.
