all the people是单数还是复数

all the people是一个复数形式。它作主语的时候，谓语动词应该用复数形式。例如，all the people are talking in the room.所有的人都在这个房间里说话。

All the people in the class are from Chengdu.这个班的所有人都是来自成都的。

All the people are great.

all the  后面加可数名词复数和不可数名词（自然没有单复数了），all

the+名词单数的情况估计是集体名词了，如people，class

例：All the people are hard

people做人民、人们讲是集合名词，本身就表示复数含义，不用加s，但是当复数处理：如：

There are many people on the Chinese people are diligent and le做民族讲的时候是单数名词，加s表示复数：A people is all the men， women， and children of a particular country or race.
