《Twinkle Twinkle Little Star》（一闪一闪小星星）是全世界流传最广的儿歌，成就了世界儿歌史上最夺目的皇冠。也成为了全世界所有国家和文化的孩子们启蒙教育中最经典的第一首儿歌。
《一闪一闪小星星》的音乐最早出现于1761年的法国童谣《啊！妈妈，我要告诉你》，后由伟大的音乐天才莫扎特改编为钢琴变奏曲KV.265，其旋律除主题外还配有十二段变奏。后来时间又过去了四十多年，在1806年，简.泰勒发表了名为《星星》的诗歌。
后由她的妹妹安妮收藏整理在诗集《育儿童歌》中，并对这首对偶形式的诗歌配以了莫扎特的旋律，于是这首广为流传的英国传统儿歌 《Twinkle Twinkle Little Star》 就这样诞生了。
